causaLens Studio Connectivity Setup Documentation

This documentation will guide you through the process of setting up connectivity between causaLens Studio and 3rd Party data services.

This documentation is intended for users performing the initial setup through 3rd party marketplaces or alternative mechanisms. Once installed, and you have a causaLens account, full documentation is available at https://docs.causalens.com

Getting Started​

To get started, please ensure you have the following prerequisites:

For Databricks:​

  1. Access: Ensure you have access to your Databricks cluster.
  2. Permissions: You need the ability to create service accounts, use personal access tokens, and create Spark clusters if not already done.
  3. causaLens Platform: Ensure you have access to the causaLens platform.
  4. Follow the instructions in Connecting to Databricks.

For Snowflake:​

  1. Access: Access to the causaLens Studio Marketplace Listing.
  2. Permissions: A user role that can provide access to the databases to be used inside Studio.
  3. Installation: Follow the instructions in Installation To Snowflake to install the application.
  4. Follow the instructions in Setup Snowflake Connections to set up access to your tables.
